Indian arbiwidely known as Taro root, is a root vegetable grown in South Asia, and is cooked in the same way as potatoes: baked, fried, roasted or boiled. 

Description

Described as having a rather sweeter, nuttier taste and smoother texture when cooked than the classic white potato, arbi, or arvi, also contains more fibre than a potato and has a rich nutrient content including vitamins A, B6, C, E, folate, magnesium, manganese and potassium.

Arbis also work well in stews and soups.
